Essay upon Mesopotamian and Egyptian Advancements in Civilization

What developments in civilization may be recognized through the writings and laws of Mesopotamia and Egypt?

Civilization started out the innovations made in Mesopotamian and Silk societies. These kinds of cultures will be the foundation of how we live today and had many similar attributes of the world we live in. Mesopotamia and Egypt can be known for several areas of society depending on the advances manufactured in their time.

Mesopotamia civilization emerged about 3500 M. C. Elizabeth., developing various characteristics we come across in world today. This can include writing, significant cities, spiritual centers and more. The Sumerian culture was one of the first communities that acquired social couchette. They had city-states organized by political market leaders. These city-states controlled the agricultural areas surrounding that (Longman). Scientific advances empowered agricultural development and control. This contemporary society also started a writing system referred to as cuneiform. This made keeping records of trade and property possible. Cuneiform also served like a religious tool, helping people write scribes (Ocana).

Egyptian civilization developed over the Nile River around 3000 B. C. E. From this society, they will used the Nile to get started on trading with additional regions (Mark). They employed unified political structure instead of separate like the city-states. The Egyptians a new more distinctive form of publishing called hieroglyphics. This was much different than the Mesopotamian cuneiform.

Egypt and Mesopotamia differed in many ways. Personal structure in Egypt was more centralized while Mesopotamia the government was based about regional city-states (Mark). Egyptian culture was more advanced with architecture. This was partially since they had even more access to building materials than Mesopotamia. Egypt also got pharaohs who were able to commandeer large amounts of laborers (Ocana). Egyptians was missing the fictional tradition that Mesopotamia acquired.
