Abstract of paper to be presented at theRoyal Swedish School of Sciences international energy symposium, Energy2050, to be kept on 19-20 October 2009 Fossil fuels will be finite solutions. In various parts of the world we come across that creation reached a maximum and then declined. At the moment we take in around eighty five million barrels of petrol per day (mb/d) or 23 billion barrels per year. Whenever we compare this kind of with BP's estimate with the world's supplies of 1240 billion barrels this is corresponding to constant usage at modern-day level pertaining to 40 years, i. e. till 2050. A consistent level of global oil creation is certainly not realistic due to the physical guidelines of oilfields. Instead, expect a future more production, Maximum Oil, and then declining development. Today, oil is the uncooked material to get the energy for plane, passenger cars, chartering, trucks, ships etc . The past 40 years the oil requirements of our transport modes include steady increased. During the approaching 40 years the amounts of non-renewable fuels used for travel must be lowered. The politics will with this will be analyzed in Copenhagen later this year, but more important is that limited oil assets will limit the production of oil. Optimum Oil would be the politicians' best friend when it comes to lowering CO2 emissions. The IPCC emission scenarios are based on completely wrong assumptions of fossil gas resources and are also, therefore , overstated. Future essential oil production could be divided into half a dozen fractions; 1) crude oil by currently generating fields, 2) crude oil from fields yet to be created, 3) crude oil from fields yet available, 4) crude oil from increased recovery, 5) nonconventional oil production and lastly 6) gas liquids. According to the International Strength Agency (IEA) publication World Energy Perspective 2008 these will amount to a total of 106 mb/d in the year 2030, an increase of more than 20 mb/d...
