The " PAKOLA" factory was established upon August, 1950 in Karachi at Nishter Road under the name and style of PAKISTAN REFRESHMENT LIMITED underneath the direct control and managing of Late Haji Ali Muhammad (the founder of Pakola ). In 1960 the corporation shifted to SITE Commercial Area where it created day and night. In 1965 " BUBBLE UP" in addition to 1982 " APPLE SIDRA " were successfully introduced. These were the first franchised brand being launched by this Company. The company remains the first bottling plant in South Asia, certified quality manufacturers as per the standards of ISO 9001: 2000, ISO 14001: 1996 and RVA HACCP. In 1968, Mr. Yasin Haji Kassam became a member of the Drink Industry following the completion of his education and using new concepts and a progressive strategy, took the organization to greater heights. ORANGE GRIND AND PINEAPPLE CRUSH launched in 1976. In 06 1977 one more Beverage Grow was placed in Hyderabad by the name of Sindh Refreshments Limited. In 1979 P. B. L. got the Franchise of Pepsi Cola, Miranda and Teem, and Administration has shifted Pakola and allied products to Mehran Bottlers Limited which was proven in 1979 in C/5-A, S i9000. I. T.
